A note from me
EXT. CLEVELAND, OHIO - PRESENT DAY
Tommy Hallal
I love movies more than God, and I mean that plainly. Directing is the thing I was put here to do.
Everything I make sits in the same spot: goofy on the surface, dark underneath. Grounded sci-fi, dark comedy, a little surreal, a little horror. Scorsese is the foundation, and I keep going back to Portrait of a Lady on Fire, Woman in the Dunes, and Eraserhead.
I shoot in Cleveland, and I don't bring an ego to set.
